Hi, so this blog is dead i'm afraid. My internet was down for a while and now its back i've started a new job and no longer have the time or patience to keep this running. I used to work from home 1 or 2 days a week so it was no problem uploading new stuff. But now i'm constantly out of the house and busy as hell on photoshop, FCP, After FX and other stuff, so that when I get home a computer is the last thing I wanna look at. My links were also dying at a very fast rate.

On the plus side I love the job, its what I always wanted and was working towards when standing in fields on film shoots in the middle of nowhere at all hours.
So thanks for all the comments, but I gotta get outa here. You can still get me on MySpace and the various boards I chat to people on.
If anybody wants to take over the blog, let me know.

Ok, so I cannot recommend this enough. An awesome pop/rock/indie type album, best of all they're playing Dublin in October ! Generally I am instantly sold on any song that has handclaps and "oohs" or "ba ba ba" backing vocals. Its just my weakness, many Weezer songs, best example is prob Photograph, or one of my favourite songs ever....Fountains of Wayne-Stacys Mom, dont give me any shit about it, anyway-

So people are having problems with the url as a pass. Its only a few as theres hundreds of downloads and then one or 2 people cant get the pass to work. So if anybody has any advice as to how these people can get the url as pass to work then leave it here as a comment.
I'l revert back to dickdarlington as pass from now on so it works for everybody, the reason i'd changed it was that my links were appearing on loads of other blogs and therefore dying in a day or so. Cheers,

The Rentals-The Last Little Life EP 2007
Some say Weezer has never been the same since Matt Sharp left, I wouldnt completely agree but Return of the Rentals is a pretty good album, and Seven More Minutes wasnt bad. This is a taster before the new album in 08

For old times sake, the awesome "Friends of P", so close to classic Weezer, makes you wonder did Rivers really control everything?

Hi, so I got a message from somebody asking had I given up on the blog, no. I was in Gemrany for a while. Seen Southside Fest which included Interpol(too much new stuff) Editors(brilliant)Kings of Leon(good but pity they were on the large main stage) Beastie Boys(awesome) Sonic Youth(awesome)Modest Mouse(Awesome) Bright Eyes(awesome), quite a bit of use of awesome there.

Also I was sick of the fact that before I went on the trip my links were dying within a day or so of putting them up, and I was seeing them on tons of other blogs without any credit being given to where they were taken from. I have no problem with people using a link if they then link my blog from it, but not doing it isnt cool when someone else using it just gets it killed quicker and I'm the one spent the time uploading it.
Certain links had hundreds of downloads and I was able to see far less people visited the blog since I put them up. But when I came back there was loads of leaks and I had more time on my hands, so............................for the time being i'l see how it goes.

Well worth a listen.

The Black Keys

So somebody asked about The Black Keys and if I could post some of their stuff again, here ya go.

Def one of the best bands around today, I seen them in Temple Bar Music Centre last yr which is where all these pics are from(i took the colour ones, dunno who took the blk n white) and was one of my gigs of the year, hopefully they'l put in a festival appearance or something this yr.
The fact that 1 guitar player and a drummer can sound better than most bands with 5 or 6 people is crazy.

I think Rubber Factory is the best album, closely followed by Magic Potion and then Thickfreakness.

I also have a bootleg from Sydney in 05 which i'l put up in a day or so.
