Oh no! :D What's going on here? That's Paris Hilton, right?
Yeah , bet she listens to "King of Carrot Flowers" all the time
...Somebody in Dublin listens to THIS KIND OF MUSIC?? :O You've got to give me some tips about nightlife here, not that I want to dance to King of Carrot Flowers, but I'm not from Ireland and I'm finding it hard to have a good night out... I'm glad I found this blog, it gives me hope ;D
By the way, I was just thinking that you might be interested in Primavera Sound Festival, in Barcelona. The line-up is AMAZING every year, by what I've seen in your blog I think you'd enjoy it. This is the lineup so far for this year's edition (31st May - 2nd June):
-BAND OF HORSES
-BOLA
-BRIGHTBLACK MORNING LIGHT
-BUILT TO SPILL
-COMETS ON FIRE perform the album Blue Cathedral
-DEATH VESSEL
-DIRTY THREE
-THE DURUTTI COLUMN
-EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY
-GRIZZLY BEAR
-ISIS
-LOW
-MELVINS perform the album Houdini
-MODEST MOUSE
-OAKLEY HALL
-PELICAN
-SLINT perform the album Spiderland
The tickets are 85€ now, but they'll be around 100€ from next Thursday onwards, when more bands will be confirmed. I can't recommend it enough, it's the best festival I've ever been to! Maybe you've already been there and I'm talking shit! ; )
Sounds cool, Melvins, Band of Horses, Built to Spill and Modest Mouse are all I know on that line up.
Nowhere in Dub is that good for this sort of music, maybe Whelans, Doyles beside Trinity, The Hub in Temple Bar opposite the IFI, but preferbly Thursday or fri for any of them, Saturdays are crazy.
that picture is about as funny as the time i saw glen hansard (of the frames) nodding "approvingly" at a beck concert.
that picture makes me not want to hear it!
Wonder if this is her "Lonely Prison Disc"...hahah
