Sugar Kane, 100%, Youth Against Fascism- great album
Sugar Kane was the first Sonic Youth song I ever heard, it was on Jools Holland in 1992, wasn't 92 when I watched it but bought this album on that performance which is below.

I post up some obscure sonic youth stuff, but i'm thinking you might not like most of them. Alot are wierdo noise records which might not suit your pop sensibilities, but the peel sessions is nice, 3 fall covers and a cover of the victoria by the kinks.
